Amendment Notification Declaring Eco Sensitive Zone S.O. No. 2436(E) Ghughua Fossil Wildlife Sanctaury, Madhya Pradesh

EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2149] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 24, 2020/SRAVANA 2, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th July 2020 S.O. 2436(E).—WHEREAS, vide notification number 3064 (E), dated the 15 th September, 2017 under sub- section (1) and clauses (v) and (xiv) of sub-section (2) and sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) read with sub-rule (3) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, (hereafter in this notification referred to as the said notification) the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change declared Eco-sensitive Zone of the Ghughua Fossil National Park in the State of Madhya Pradesh; AND WHEREAS, the Government of Madhya Pradesh vide its letter No. ESZ/37-III/4(9)/5064, dated the th July, 2019 requested the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for amendment; AND WHEREAS, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has examined the request of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and ascertained that the request of the State Government is factually correct; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clause (v) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) read with sub-rule (4) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the said notification namely: - In the said notification, in paragraph 5, in sub-paragraph (1), (i) in item (i), for the word “Rewa”, the word “Jabalpur” shall be substituted; (ii) in item (ii), for the word “Singrauli”, the word “Dindori” shall be substituted; (iii) in item (iii), for the word “Rewa”, the word “Jabalpur” shall be substituted; (iv) in item (iv), for the word “Rewa”, the word “Jabalpur” shall be substituted; (v) in item (v), for the word “Singrauli”, the word “Dindori” shall be substituted; (vi) in item (vii), for the word “Singrauli”, the word “Dindori” shall be substituted; (vii) in item (viii), for the word “Singrauli”, the word “Dindori” shall be substituted; and Published by the Controller of Publications, Delhi-110054.
