Short title and cornmencernent.c-This shall be called Jharkhand Staij Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code) First AmendfeJI. . Regulation, 2007. · I 2. They shall come into force from the date of publication in official gazE;tt 3. They extend to the State of Jharkhand. . · I l 4. The words and expressions occurring in this order and not specially defin · herein shall bear the meaning as in the Electricity Act, 2003 I l 5. The following am.endments to the. JSERC (Electricity Supply Cpd ··\ Regulations 2005 are hereby made' ' f I Amendment to Regulation 5.1.- Requisition tor a new supply of elect ici .r I shall be made by the owner/occupier Of the premises in duplicate in the preSCfib I form·of the licensee, which shall be available, free of cost, from the local office b . . the licensee. The model format of the application form is provided in Schedule/I ;; of these Regulations. The Licensee shall necessarily supply two cooles of agr_eeme ': 1 format, one copy of tariff schedule and one copy of Electricity supply code cilo,1,( with the application forms. I 11 On the application Iorrn there shaii be clearly mentioned the names, wAt.'.i· address and telephone numbers of the offices from where the application forrmj dn1 be obtained and where the filled up application form will be submitted. l ' Any-assistance or information required in filling up the form will be providled · o. the applicant at the local office of the liqensee. . :, · Amendment to Regulation 5.5.- If the applicant, in respect of an earli · agreement executed in his name or in the name ota firm or company with whi¢h ie1 was associated either as a partner, director.or managing director, has any arrearsl~! electricity dues or other dues for the premises where the new connection is applik-d·il for and such dues are payable to the licensee, the requisition for supply may nbt ~e entertained by the licensee until the dues are paid in _full. But if the old consµT71et who had committed default in payment of the dues has left the premises for'gobai and the concerned premises has come in legal possession of a new occhpdnti through transfer or purchase of the concerned property and whore the new incurhbJn is not connected with the previous owner/occupant in any manner and applies for fie·, connection of the electrical line in the same disconnected premtses, in that. ~wen11 the distrib4tion licensee shall be obliged to order re-connection without realizationlo~ the arrear dues of concerned premises from the new incumbent, as the purcha~e~,01; the premises would not be held liable to meet the liability of the previous consumes in order to. secure re-connection. · ' t· Amendment to Regulation 6.2.11. ~ A note below table 6.2.11 be added as follows: , ~ "Note.-The time tor providing new connection which does not requir~ a yr' extensionshouta be limited to 30 days from the receipt of appiication". .
