No. 801/26/2002-PITNDPS dated 28.3.2002 under the said sub–section directing that Shri Kishore Bhatt s/o Shri Ramniklal Bhatt, R/o.8-A, Navjeevan Society, Flat No.6, IInd floor, Lamington Road, Mumbai be detained and kept in custody in the District Jail, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) with a view to preventing him from engaging in illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances. 2. Whereas the Central Government has reason to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or is concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub–section (1) of Section 8 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before Shri J.K.Mishra, I.O., Superintendent (Recovery), Office of the Commissioner Customs & Central Excise, Ghaziabad, CGO Complex II, Old Hapur Chungi, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, within 10 days of the publication of this order in the official Gazette.
