No. Sankirna-0624/448/C.R.59/Spl. 1A.—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), and in supersession of all the existing notifications, order or instruments issued in this behalf the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the date of publication of this notification, empowers the Police Officer not below the rank of Police Head Constable for the purposes of section 194 of the said Sanhita.
