Regarding permission to apply Indian numerals internationally

Uttar Pradesh Government Language Department No. 2781/Ikkira-3 (19) -68 Lucknow, the 17th March, 1970 Notification In exercise of the powers conferred by the restrictive clause of Section 2 of the Uttar Pradesh Official Languages Act, 1951 (Uttar Pradesh Act No. 26 of 1951) and in accordance with Government Notification No. 525/twenty-one-3(19)-68, dated the 19th February, 1968, the Governor is pleased to permit the use of the international form of Indian numerals for all official purposes not covered by the said Notification.
