EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3535] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2020/KARTIKA 14, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 5th November, 2020 S.O. 4014(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections ( 1) and (2) of section 3 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Ordinance, 2020 (13 of 2020) (hereafter in this notification referred to as the ‘Ordinance’), the Central Government hereby constitutes a body to be known as the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas to exercise the powers conferred on, and to perform the functions assigned to it under the said Ordinance. 2. The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas shall comprise of the following Members in terms of qualification prescribed under sub-Section (2) of section 3 of the Ordinance, namely:- Sl. Shri Ashish Dhawan Air Pollution Action Group Member 7. Representative of Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change not below the rank of Joint Secretary Member 8. Member who is either Chief Secretary, or Secretary in-charge of the department dealing with environment protection, in the State of Delhi Member 9. Member who is either Chief Secretary, or Secretary in-charge of the department dealing with environment protection, in the State of Punjab Member 10. Member who is either Chief Secretary, or Secretary in-charge of the department dealing with environment protection, in the States of Haryana Member 11. Member who is either Chief Secretary, or Secretary in-charge of the department dealing with environment protection, in the State of Rajasthan Member 12. Member who is either Chief Secretary, or Secretary in-charge of the department dealing with environment protection, in the State of Uttar Pradesh Member 13. Representative of the National Institution for Transforming India, not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India or Adviser Member 14. Technical member from the Central Pollution Control Board Technical Member 15. Technical member from the Indian Space Research Organisation Technical Member 3.
