GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE & FARMERS WELFARE (Agriculture-2 Branch) NOTIFICATION The 11" May, 2020 No. 8/19/2006-Agri-2(6)/ 4128 :-In supersession of the Government of Punjab, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Notification No 5.0.10/P.A.6/2009/S.3/2020, dated the 22" April, 2020 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3 of the Punjab Preservation of Sub-Soil Water Act, 2009 (Punjab Act No. 6 of 2009) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the following dates before which no farmer shall sow nursery of paddy or its transplantation, namely:- (1) sowing of nursery of paddy: not before the 10" day of May, each year; and (ii) transplantation of paddy: not before the 10" day of June, each year; Chandigarh VISHWAJE bs ET KHANNA, Dated 11.05.2020 Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Endst.
