Mumbai has been specified to be the Authority to exercise the powers exercisable by the Government of Maharashtra under section 25-N; And whereas, by Government Notification, Industries, Energy and TLabour Department, No. IDA-1094/70108/CR-18/SAB-3, Dated the 16" August, 1996 issucd under clause (b) of section 39 of the said Act, the Commissioner of Labour. Mumbui has been specified to be the Authority to exercise the powers exercisable by the Government of Maharashtra under section 25-M: And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to direct to that the powers exercisable by it under section 25-N and 25-M of the said act. shall also be exercisable by the officers mentioned in column 2 of the schedule appended hereto (hereinafter referred to as “the said Schedule”) for the respective local arcas, specified against each of them in column 3 of the said Schedule: Now, therefore, in exercisable of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 39 of the said Act and in supersession of previous Government Notification.
