Haryana Government Gazette EXTRAORDINARY Published by Authority © Govt. of Haryana No. 4-2023/Ext.] CHANDIGARH, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2023 (PAUSA 14, 1944 SAKA) fnukad 4 tuojh] 2023 gSA HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 4th January, 2023 THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASES IN ANIMAL ACT, 2019 No. 7129(CFMS)-AH-4-2022/89.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 6 read with Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 7 of “The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009)”, the Government of Haryana, hereby declares the District Jind as “controlled area” for restriction of movement of equine species (horses, donkeys, mules) within or outside the district and bordering States to prevent, control and contain the Glanders disease. The holding of races, fair, exhibition, games and gathering of such animals in Jind District is also prohibited.
