Initiate new scheme – “Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man-Dhan Scheme”

g S %& 2016 J0 l a0&39½ The 17 th January 2020 S.O. 80 dated 17 th January 2020--Inexercise of the power, conferred by Section 22(h) in context of 22(1)(b) of Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act 1996 (27 of 1996) and the rule 284 (A) of Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment)Rule-2016, the Government of Bihar makes following provision to initiate new scheme – “Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Man-Dhan Scheme” for the welfare of registered construction workers and their spouse :- 1. The payment of prescribed contribution amount for eligible registered construction workers (Subscribers) of 18-40 years of age will be made by the Board for maximum uptofive years instantly. 2. The Pensioners of this scheme will not be entitled to benefit of “Pension Scheme” running under the Board. 3. In case of exit of workers from this scheme due to any reason, the defined payable amount will be transferred in their Bank Accounts as per rule. 4. This scheme will be operated as per the directions of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India from time to time.
