Establishment of Civil Judge Senior Division Court at Ramtek, District Nagpur

NOTIFICATION No. CRC 2117/CR 174(I)/Desk XII.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21, 22A and 23 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of all earlier notifications issued in this behalf; in so far as they relate to the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nagpur in, Nagpur, sub-ordinate to the District Court, Nagpur, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, directs that with effect from 19th March, 2023,— (a) there shall be a Civil Court at Ramtek, sub-ordinate to the District Court, Nagpur in Nagpur District; (b) the said Court shall be presided over by the Civil Judge, Senior Division, who shall hold his Court at Ramtek; and (c) the local limits of the ordinary jurisdiction of the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Ramtek, shall comprise area covered within the local limits of the revenue talukas of Ramtek, Mauda and Parshivani in Nagpur District and the said areas which are heretofore included within the local limits of the ordinary jurisdiction of the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nagpur shall be excluded therefrom.
