EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 721] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2016/ASVINA 25, 1938 MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th October, 2016 G.S.R. 980(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of Bhopal Gas Leak Disaster (Processing of Claims) Act, 1985 (21 of 1985), the Central Government hereby extends the tenure of Shri Justice Prakash Shrivastava, a sitting Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh to hold concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner for the Welfare of the Victims of Bhopal Gas Leak Disaster, for a period of one year with effect from 01.08.2016 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
