(EXTRA.), JUNE 9, 2021 (JYST. 19, 1943 SAKA) 1547 HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT Order The 9th June, 2021 No. 21/X-l/P.A.l/1914/Ss.31 and 32/2021.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 31 and 32 of the Haryana Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following orders further to amend the Punjab Excise Fiscal Orders, 1932, in their application to the State of Haryana, namely :– 1. (1) These orders may be called the Punjab Excise Fiscal (Haryana Amendment) Orders, 2021. (2) They shall come into force with effect from the 12th day of June, 2021. 2. In the Punjab Excise Fiscal Orders, 1932 (hereinafter called the said orders), in order 1, for the existing table, the following table and entries thereagainst shall be substituted namely:– “Table (A) In case, the retail zones of country liquor (L-14A) and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (L-2) vends are allotted by first mode of allotment, as provided in clause 2.3 of the Excise Policy for the year 2021-2022, the rates of Excise Duty shall be as under:– Sr. No. Kind of liquor or spirit Rate of duty “1. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1051 upto ₹1250 per case ₹ 126.00 per proof litre 5. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1251 upto ₹1500 per case ₹ 130.00 per proof litre 6. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1501 upto ₹2500 per case ₹ 140.00 per proof litre 7. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹2501 upto ₹3500 per case ₹ 150.00 per proof litre 8. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹3501 upto ₹5000 per case ₹ 185.00 per proof litre 9. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹5001 upto ₹7000 per case ₹ 220.00 per proof litre 10. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price above ₹7001 upto ₹9000 per case ₹ 270.00 per proof litre 11. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price above ₹9001 per case ₹ 300.00 per proof litre 12. Potable Rectified Spirit and Extra Neutral Alcohol for Country Liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor ₹ 20.00 per proof litre 13. Cider ₹5.00 per bottle of 350 mili litre. (B) In case, the retail zones of country liquor (L-14A) and Indian Made Foreign Liquor(L-2) vends are allotted by second mode of allotment, as provided in clause 2.3 of the Excise Policy for the year 2021-2022, the rates of Excise Duty shall be as under:– Sr. No. Kind of liquor or spirit Rate of duty “1. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1501 upto ₹2500 per case ₹ 155.00 per proof litre 7. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹2501 upto ₹3500 per case ₹165.00 per proof litre 8. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹3501 upto ₹5000 per case ₹195.00 per proof litre 9. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹5001 upto ₹7000 per case ₹235.00 per proof litre 10. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price above ₹7001 upto ₹9000 per case ₹ 285.00 per proof litre 11. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price above ₹9001 per case ₹325.00 per proof litre 12. Potable Rectified Spirit and Extra Neutral Alcohol for Country Liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor ₹ 20.00 per proof litre 13. Cider ₹5.00 per bottle of 350 mili litre.”. 3. In the said orders, in order 1-A, for the existing table, the following table shall be substituted, namely :- “Table Sr. No. Kind of liquor or spirit Rate of duty “1. Country Liquor ₹0.50 per proof litre 2. Beer ₹0.50 per bulk litre 3. Potable Rectified Spirit/ Extra Neutral Alcohol ₹2.00 per bulk litre 4. Indian Made Foreign Spirit/ Indian Made Foreign Liquor ₹1.25 per proof litre 5. Ready to Drink Beverages ₹1.50 per bulk litre 6. Draught Beer ₹1.50 per bulk litre 7. Absolute Alcohol ₹1.00 per bulk litre 8. Denatured Spirit Nil 9. Ethanol/Denatured spirit for Automobile fuel Nil.”. 4. In the said orders, in order 1-E, in the existing table, the following table shall be substituted, namely :- “Table Sr. No. Kind of liquor or spirit Rate of duty “1. Indian Made Foreign Spirit, Rum ₹24.00 per proof litre 11. Wine, Cider ₹7.00 per bulk litre.”. 5. In the said orders, in order 5, in the existing clauses and entries thereagainst, for serial number 5 and 6 and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:- “ (v) The rate of additional excise duty on country liquor ₹50.00 per proof litre (vi) The rate of additional excise duty on Indian Made foreign Liquor ₹90.00 per proof litre.”.
