JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court, for expeditious disposal of Ext.P3 application for grant of city permit in respect of an autorickshaw bearing registration No.KL-7-BV-8164. It is stated in the writ petition that the application for issue of fresh city autorickshaw permit is being considered by the authorities and therefore, a direction may be issued to the 1^st respondent to consider Ext.P3 request made by the petitioner.

Heard the learned Government Pleader also.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader and having regard to the limited nature of the relief sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition will stand disposed of, directing the 1^st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3, if not already disposed of, in accordance with the law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. I make it clear that I have not expressed any opinion on the merit of the petitioner’s claim.
