The petitioner had approached this Court, seeking

the following reliefs:-

“i. Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order directing the 2^nd respondent to issue entry pass to the petitioner for joining duty as per Ext.P1 appointment order and to continue his duty in the 3^rd respondent institution without insisting for police clearance certificate.;

ii. Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or order directing the 1^st respondent to issue consent to the 2^nd respondent for issuance of entry pass to the petitioner for entry into the premises of the 3^rd respondent institution.”

When this matter is taken up for consideration

today, it is the submission of the learned Counsel for the 2^nd respondent that, presently, the company under which the petitioner got appointment in terms of Ext.P1 (3^rd respondent), is no longer functioning within the premises of the Trivandrum International Airport. It is also submitted that from 14.10.2021, the

management of the Airport has been taken over by the Adani Trivandrum International Airport Ltd.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing for the 2^nd respondent, I am of the view that nothing further survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly closed.
