Petitioners claim to be the members of Arayavamshodharani Sabha, a society registered under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act. The Sabha is in administration of the Sree Balabhadra Temple. There are factional disputes with respect to the administration of the temple. The petitioners allege that the 5th respondent is planning to conduct the Annual General Meeting of the Sabha and the conduct of such a meeting will lead to a law and order situation.

intervening in such disputes and directing grant of police protection against conduct of meetings. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to make a proper request before the District Registrar. If such a request is made, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law.
The writ petition is closed, accordingly.
