Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, pursuant to the direction of this Court, police protection was granted to the College, the Principal, the Staff as well as the students and the college is functioning from 04.07.2024 onwards.

In view of the above development, the writ petition is closed, directing the police authorities to continue their vigil and avert any attempt to disrupt the peaceful environment inside the campus. The police shall ensure that persons other than the staff and students are not permitted within the campus without the permission of the Principal. If any situation warranting interference by the Police and granting

protection to the Principal arises, the needful shall be done without delay.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
