This writ petition has been filed by the Kerala Plantation Corporation Employees' Union (CITU), Kottayam seeking a direction to the respondent to implement the directions contained in Exts.P1 and P2 and to regularize the service of the workers concerned in the appropriate post from the date of their original appointment and release the monetary benefits payable in terms of the award within a stipulated time.

The learned counsel appearing respondent corporation refers to the counter affidavit filed in this Court where in paragraph 7, it is stated that the Board of Directors of the Corporation, in its 450^th meeting held on 02.07.2019 had decided to constitute a Sub Committee consisting of 3 members of the Board to consider the issue. It is also stated that the directions in the award will be implemented, after hearing the concerned employees.

Having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent corporation and having regard to the averments in Paragraph 7 of the counter affidavit dated 08.07.2019, I am of the opinion that this writ petition can be disposed of, directing the respondent corporation to take steps to implement Exts.P1 and P2 awards without any further delay and at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
