JUDGMENT

This is an appeal filed under Section 374(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The conviction and sentence of the appellant are under challenge.

The appellant expired on 03.11.2022. A copy of his death certificate is placed on record. Neither his legal representatives nor any person interested have come forward to prosecute the appeal. The sentence includes fine also.

In the circumstances, the appeal is closed and the records are consigned to the record room in terms of the directions in Pazhani v. State of Kerala [2017(1) KLT 341].
