JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed by the Petitioner, who works as a Junior Superintendent in the Port Office, Kozhikode (now Kerala Maritime Board). The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of Respondents 2 and 3 in considering the representation filed by her seeking appointment to the post of Senior Superintendent/PA to Port Officer/Pursar.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein has preferred Ext.P6 representation, and her limited request is for the issuance of directions to consider the same by following the provisions in the existing Special Rules.

Heard the learned Standing Counsel who submits that he has no objection in considering the request for consideration of Ext.P6.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is ordered as under:

a) There will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to take

up, consider, and pass orders on Ext.P6 representation with notice

¶22

to the petitioner and take a decision as per procedure and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of

b) The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition
