JUDGMENT

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 2^nd respondent to take steps to dispose of Ext.P4 application in Form 8 dated 16.06.2022 submitted by her within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

Petitioner is in possession and absolute ownership of a property

¶20

having an extent of 16.275 cents comprised in resurvey no.143/1 (old resurvey no.100/8) of Parappanangadi Village in Malappuram District by virtue of Ext.P1 settlement deed.

The learned Government Pleader upon instructions submitted that pursuant to receipt of Ext.P4 application steps have been initiated to conduct a survey and the same will be completed within a shortest possible time, at any rate within an outer limit of four months.

Therefore the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2^nd respondent to finalise the proceedings initiated on Ext.P4 application submitted by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment, with notice to any affected parties.
