JUDGMENT
Amongst the various assertions, allegations and averments made and urged in this writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners only request that the first respondent – District Collector, be directed to take up Ext.P7 representation and dispose it of, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

representation of the petitioners and dispose of the same, after hearing them, as also any other person interested, including the KSEB; thus culminating in an appropriate order thereon, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
Needless to say, if the District Collector is to feel that the afore exercise shall be better complied with by a more competent officer, he will be at liberty to delegate it; in which event the time frame afore will stand extended by a further one month.
