JUDGMENT

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to expedite the procedure for assignment of patta to the land in respect of 1.76 Ares covered by Ext.P2. Ext.P2 is the report by the 4^th respondent recommending the claim of the petitioner.

The learned Government Pleader upon instruction submits that the matter has now been pending before the 3^rd respondent.

In view of the same, there will be a direction to the 3^rd respondent to finalise the proceedings pursuant to Ext.P2 at the earliest, at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. If the petitioner has a grievance regarding the value fixed in Ext.P2, she shall file an appropriate application before the 3^rd respondent, which shall also be duly considered in accordance with law by the 3^rd respondent while finalising the proceedings as directed above.

With the abovesaid direction, the above writ petition is disposed of.
