JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court,
seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent –
Canara Bank, to grant her an Educational Loan
for her studies, within a time frame to be fixed
by this Court.
2.Sri.M.Gopikrishanan Nambiar – learned
Standing Counsel for the Bank, submitted that,
in terms of the interim orders of this Court
dated 08.11.2023 and 07.12.2023, petitioner had
made an application for the loan physically; and
that it has been accepted by his client, which
is being processed. He submitted that the
eligible loan to the petitioner will be
sanctioned within a period of one week; and
disbursed to her, without any avoidable delay
thereafter.
The afore submissions of Sri.M.Gopikrishnan
Nambiar are recorded and this writ petition is
WP(C) NO. 36986 OF 2023
closed; however, reserving liberty to the
petitioner to seek a rehearing, if they are
found to be inaccurate in future.
