J U D G M E N T

After some argument, the learned Counsel for the

petitioner submits that he will avail the Amnesty Scheme of the Department for settling the tax dues.

Considering the aforesaid submission, the present

¶21

writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an application within a period of ten days from today before the jurisdictional Regional Transport Officer for compounding the tax liability under the Amnesty Scheme of the Department. If such an application is filed within ten days from today, the said application shall be decided in accordance with the provisions of the Amnesty Scheme expeditiously.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ

petition stands disposed of.
