JUDGMENT

When this matter was called today, Sri.Sunil Kumar Kuriakose – learned Government Pleader, submitted that, contrary to the assertions of the petitioner, his application for licence to bear a weapon, has been rejected by order dated DCKLM/3204/2020 dated 11.03.2020 by the District Collector.

In the afore circumstances, it is obvious that the petitioner cannot continue with the prosecution in this writ petition and that he will have to challenge the aforesaid order. Since Sri.E.S.M.Kabeer - learned counsel for the petitioner, however, says that his client has not received the said order, I deem it appropriate to order this writ petition in the following manner:

(a) The District Collector will forthwith, but not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, forward a copy of the aforesaid order to the petitioner, by registered post AD in his address shown in this writ petition.

(b) On the afore order being received by the petitioner, he will be at full liberty to deal with the same in any manner as is available to him in law; for which purpose, all his contentions are left open.
