Heard Mr G Hariharan, learned Counsel for the

petitioner, and Mr Joby Joseph learned Government Pleader for the State.

After some argument, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he would file a fresh application for the grant of a stage carriage permit for the route Thalappady – Manjeswaram – Uppala – Kumbala – Kasargod before the respondent for his stage carriage vehicle bearing no. KL-14E2130, for which the regular permit expired on 10.09.2021.

If the petitioner files such an application for the

grant of a fresh permit, his application shall be considered expeditiously in accordance with the law within a period of two months from the date of filing of the application. The petitioner may file his application within a period of fifteen days from today.
