This writ petition is filed seeking directions to the

respondent Panchayath to consider and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner for building permit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an

application had been submitted in November 2022. But no steps have been taken thereon.

¶19

Learned Standing Counsel for the Panchayath submits that an application had been submitted earlier and a notice had been issued to the petitioner on 11.11.2021 to rectify certain defects in the application.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a copy of the notice has been received recently by the petitioner and that he is willing to submit an application after rectifying the defects as noticed in the notice issued by the Panchayath.

In case the petitioner submits an application

rectifying the defects a noticed in the notice issued by the Panchayath, the Panchayath shall consider the same and pass necessary orders on the application within a period of three weeks from the date on which the rectified application is submitted by the petitioner.
