J U D G M E N T

The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:

“i) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the 2nd Respondent to strike off the entry shown as "D12-18/1998" in Thandapper Register pertaining to Thandapper Account No.11301;

¶23

ii) Issue a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ, order or direction to set aside revenue recovery proceedings having File Nos. D8-3103/2000, D8-3200/2000, D8-3201/2000, D8-3202/2000, D8-3203/2000, D8-3204/2000, D83205/2000 and D8-3443/2000, pending before the 1st Respondent;

iii) Issue a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ, order or direction to set aside Exhibits P8 to P15 revenue recovery notices of the 1st Respondent;

iv) Issue an order to dispense with English translation of the Exhibits produced; and

¶26

v) Grant such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition in order to approach appropriate authorities for correction of entries in revenue records.

Permission is given and the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. Pending interlocutory application, if any, in the writ petition stands dismissed.
