respondents in the year 1979. His wife in turn had assigned 5 cents of property in favour of the respondents and the children of the second respondent and a house has been constructed. He is suffering from age old ailments. The first respondent had divorced his wife on 17.10.2018. The first respondent, to settle the monetary claim of his wife, had forcefully withdrawn an amount of Rs.40,000/- from the bank account of the petitioner. The respondents have refused to maintain the petitioner who does not have the means to maintain himself. They have also threatened to drive away the petitioner from the house. The petitioner had also paid the first respondent an amount of Rs.30,000/- to purchase a car. The petitioner requires Rs.3,500/- per month for his medical expenses. He has no job or avocation and is unable to maintain himself. The first respondent is employed as a driver in the KSRTC and is drawing a salary of Rs.65,000/- per month.
