The petitioners are the wives of accused Nos.7 and 8 in S.C.(NDPS) No.995 of 2022 of Additional District and Sessions Court-I, North Paravur. They have approached this Court seeking a direction to the Forensic Science Laboratory to forward the examination report with respect to the mobile phone seized from the possession of the husbands to the Additional District and Sessions Court without delay so that the trial of the case can be concluded at the earliest.

When the matter was taken up for consideration today, learned Public Prosecutor made available a copy of Cyber Forensic Analysis Report from the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, which is being forwarded to the Sessions Court. Insofar as the Cyber Forensic Analysis Report is ready, the grievance of the petitioners stands substantially allayed.
