“The accused entered appearance on 18.08.2018. He pleaded not guilty when the particulars of offence punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act were made known to him. On 16.04.2021, the complainant was examined. After the closure of complainant's evidence on 23.04.2021, the accused was questioned under section 313 of Cr.P.C. One witness on the side of the accused was examined on 04.01.2022 and Ext.D1 to D6 were marked. From 11.05.2022 onwards 1 am holding full additional charge of Munsiff, Kottarakkara. I was also having full additional charge of JFCM-I, Kottarakkara from 12.05.2022 till 28.08.2022. I was directed to conduct sitting once in a week in Munsiff Court, Kottarakkara and in compliance with the order. I am conducting sitting on every Wednesday. On 22.06.2022, I had examined one witness on the side of the accused as DW2. Thereafter, on 25.02.2023 the case was notified and the case was adjourned to 01.03.2023 for the further evidence of the accused. Considering the fact that I am only holding full additional charge of Munsiff, Kottarakkara and is conducting sitting on every Wednesday, I humbly request that one month time may kindly be granted to dispose of this case.”
