This Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed with the following prayer:
To pass an order directing the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Chalakkudy to release the petitioner on bail on the date of his surrender itself.
26.04.2016, this Court passed the following order:
‘Petitioner is the accused in C.C.No.1576 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Chalakkudy where offences under section 406 and 420 IPC which is pending as L.P.No.23 of 2016. The petitioner was absconding. The petitioner submits that since the warrant is pending against him, there is every possibility of him being remanded to custody. He seeks a direction to the court to release him on bail on the date of surrender itself.
Heard learned PP also. In case, if the petitioner appears before the Judicial First Class Magistrate

Court, Chalakkudy with the petition for bail and along with the requisite petition for concellation of nonbailable warrant issued to him, the learned Magistrate shall as far as possible, consider the same and pass orders on the same day itself.
