The petitioner herein is the accused in Crime No.135 of 2018 of the

Ponnani Police Station registered inter alia under Section 341, 323, 324, 308, 506 r/w Section 34 of the IPC.

The grievance of the petitioner herein is that the petitioner was a minor at the time of the commission of the offence, and the case against him was split up and made over to the Juvenile Justice Board, Manjeri. He states that the 2nd respondent herein has filed a final report insofar as the other accused are concerned before the Sessions Court, Tirur, and the case is pending as S.C No.619 of 2019. Insofar as the petitioner herein is concerned, no final report has been laid. It is in the afore circumstances that this writ petition is filed seeking issuance of directions to the 2^nd respondent to submit the final report in Crime No.135 of 2018.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that all measures have been taken to submit the final report, and the same shall be submitted before the Juvenile Justice Board latest within a period of 90 days.

The said submission is recorded.
