A report has been obtained from the Superintendent of Women’s Prison and Correctional Home, Kannur and placed by the learned Public Prosecutor for perusal alongwith a memo. The report states that the appellant herein has been given special remission as part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and was released on 15.08.2022 as per G.O.(MS) No.167/2022/HOME dated 12.08.2022. Therefore the appeal is dismissed as not pressed.
