This is an application for anticipatory bail filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, by accused Nos.1, 4, 6, 12 and 18 in Crime No.130/2021 of Chockli Police Station, Kannur where the prosecution alleges commission of offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 451, 427, 153, 436 read with Section 149 of IPC as well as under Sections 5 and 6 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

At the time of hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor submitted that during pendency of this bail application petitioners 1 and 3 viz. Abdulla K.P.S. and Suraij were arrested. Petitioners 2 and 4 viz. Nasar C.H. and Yusuf Othayoth were found to be not involved in this crime. Therefore they were deleted from the array of accused. The 5^th petitioner viz. Safeer K. is still absconding.

The learned Public Prosecutor would submit further that in this case investigation has been completed and Final Report filed.
