JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the father of one Mahesh who passed away on 23.03.2019 due to a fall from a three storied building which was under construction at Pulamon, Kottarakkara. In connection with the said incident Kottarakara Police registered Crime No.495/2021 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the Police is not conducting proper investigation in the matter and the petitioner is having some suspicion with respect to the circumstances under which his son died. In such circumstances, highlighting the grievances of the petitioner, and seeking for change of investigation agency, the wife of the petitioner submitted Ext.P4 representation before the 1^st respondent which is now pending consideration. The limited prayer sought for by the petitioner is to direct the 1^st respondent to consider the same and to pass appropriate orders thereon.

After considering all the relevant inputs, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition. Accordingly, it is ordered that, the 1^st respondent shall take up Ext.P4 complaint, if it is already received and pending and appropriate decision thereon will be taken
