Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that, pending this writ petition, the petitioner’s DCRG and monetary value of leave surrender is disbursed. Learned Counsel further submits that, there being a delay of nearly two years in disbursing the amounts, the respondents are liable to pay interest.

Inasmuch as the grievance raised in the writ petition stand redressed, the writ petition is closed, permitting the petitioner to make a representation before the appropriate authority, as regards his claim for interest. If such representation is submitted, the competent authority shall pass a reasoned order within two months.
