Report on inspection under Section 66 of the

Co-operative Societies Act is under challenge in
the writ petition.

2.The respondent has filed a statement.
Referring to paragraph 10 and 11 therein the
learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
the writ petition can be closed. The relevant
portion thereof reads thus,

“The subject matter included in the report
belonging to the period of the previous managing
committee. …..No serious points were included in the
report to impose surcharge upon the members of the
managing committee.”

¶22

In the light thereof, the Writ Petition is
closed without prejudice to the rights of the
petitioner.
