In this writ petition, petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:

i. Call for records leading to Ext. P3 and issue a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing Ext.P3.

ii. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents 1 and 5 not to conduct election to the 5th respondent society otherwise than in accordance with Ext.P1 byelaw.

iii. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the 1^st respondent not to conduct any election in Anthikkad Kolpadavu as proposed in Ext.P3 in accordance with Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act and Rules since Anthikkad Kolpadavu is not coming within the area of operation of the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act and Rules.

Today, when the matter came up for further hearing, Mr. Ranjith

Thampan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
