The petitioner, who belongs to SC/ST community, seeks admission against the unfilled seats for the Three year LLB Course in the 3^rd respondent–College.

The petitioner would submit that he was issued with allotment memo in the 2^nd and 3^rd phase of allotment process. However, he could not participate in the same as the results of the Supplementary Examination he had undergone to complete his Degree Course, was not published. The results were published on 11.01.2022. The petitioner now understands that after the allotment process was closed, there are three vacant seats for the Three year LLB Course at Government Law College, Thrissur. The petitioner seeks admission against one of the said three seats.

The learned Government Pleader, on

instructions, submitted that admission to the Three year

LLB Course under Calicult University was closed on 30.11.2021. It may not be possible for the 3^rd respondent to admit a student against unfilled seats without the leave of the University.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader representing the respondents.

Since the last date of admission is over, it will not

be proper for this Court to interfere in the matter and pass orders. However, the petitioner may approach the 3^rd respondent for seeking admission and if the rules permit, the 3^rd respondent can consider the matter in accordance with law.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the 3^rd respondent for

admission to unfilled seats of Three year LLB Course in the Government Law College, Thrissur. If the petitioner makes

such an application, the 3^rd respondent will consider the application in accordance with law and following the rules

and regulations in that regard.
