JUDGMENT

This writ petition is filed based on the apprehension that the Government may demand Rs.5,000/- as internship fees on the basis of Exts.P4 and P4(a). The petitioners' contention is that, as far as DHI (Diploma in Health Inspector) Course is concerned, there cannot be a demand for internship fees, since what is undertaken by the students is field study. The issue stands clarified by G.O.(Rt) No.2223/2022/H&FWD dated 13/9/2022 whereby the Government, after examining the matter in detail, ordered that the internship fee of Rs.5000/- for paramedical courses does not apply to the DHI Courses and the Fee of Rs100/- fixed for field study should be continued until further orders.

In view of the above Government Order, nothing survives for consideration and the writ petition is closed.
