The prayer in the writ petition is to continue the petitioners as Technical Assistants in the Sooranadu Grama Panchayat up to 31.3.2022. As the said period will be over in two days, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.

The writ petition is therefore closed. The petitioners having worked pursuant to the interim order of this Court, the respondent Panchayat is bound to pay salary for the period during which the petitioners had actually worked.
