The petitioner was awarded the contract for rectification of leakages in various pipelines from RWSS to Pallachal. While executed the work, petitioner had to undertake certain additional works, utilising additional item. The 3^rd respondent has forwarded petitioner’s bill containing the details of the additional items to the 2^nd respondent for sanction. The petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 representation before the 2^nd respondent, seeking early disbursal of the bill amount.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the Kerala Water Authority.

Learned Standing Counsel for the Water Authority submitted that, 3^rd respondent having forwarded the bill containing the details of the additional items of work, an appropriate decision will be taken by the 2^nd respondent without delay.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of, directing the 2^nd respondent to consider Ext.P3 representation and to take a reasoned decision on Ext.P2 bill forwarded by the 3^rd
