The appellant is the respondent in O.P.No.1706 of 2016 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram, which was one filed by the respondent herein-husband under Section 13(1)(ia)(ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, seeking a decree of divorce dissolving the marriage solemnised between the parties on 02.11.2014. That original petition was allowed by the judgment and decree dated 19.03.2021, whereby the marriage solemnized on 02.11.2014 was dissolved from the date of that judgment. The petitioner has filed this appeal challenging the said judgment and decree, invoking the provisions under Section 19(1) of the Family Courts Act, 1984.

“I do not intend to prosecute the appeal anymore. Hence the above appeal may be dismissed as not pressed.”
