Petitioner challenges the registration of Crime No.372/2016 of Vatakara Police Station, Kozhikode.

The learned Public Prosecutor upon instructions, submitted that pursuant to investigation into the aforesaid crime, final report was filed as C.C.No. 904/2017 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Vatakara.

Smt.K.Deepa, the learned counsel for the petitioner on the other hand contended that petitioner had paid the entire amount due to the Department.

¶24

Notwithstanding the aforesaid payment, since the final report has already been filed, petitioner has other remedies.

¶25

Accordingly, reserving the liberty of the petitioner to move against the final report in accordance with law, this Crl.M.C is dismissed as infructuous.
