JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court challenging an interim order of the Tribunal for Local Self Government Institutions, which vacated a stay order passed in an appeal filed by her before the said Tribunal. When the matter taken up for admission, this Court called for a report from the Presiding Officer of the Tribunal for Local Self Government Institutions as regards the time that would be required for passing final orders in Appeal Nos.321 of 2020, 519 of 2020 and 289 of 2020 that are pending before the said Tribunal. By a communication dated 25.01.2021, the Presiding Officer has indicated that the hearing of the aforesaid appeals is posted to 15.02.2021 and the Tribunal can dispose the appeals within a month from the date of the communication. Taking note of the said report of the Tribunal, I am of the view that the ends of justice would be served by disposing this Writ petition without interfering with the impugned order but directing the Tribunal to pass final orders in the aforementioned appeals on or before 28.02.2021.
