The petitioner sought sanction for grant of `950

¶20

Crores as cash credit to the Cancer and Allied Ailment Research Foundation, which is a non-profitable charitable organization initiated by the petitioner. The

approval sought was for grant of 50 Crores for the year 2019-2020 and 90 crores per year from 2020-21 to 2029-

Ext.P5 is the sanction accorded on petitioner's request.

Contending that there is mistake in Ext.P5 regarding the mentioning of the year and the amounts sanctioned for 2020-21, and seeking approval for the amount spent in 2019-20, Exts.P6 and P7 applications were submitted by the petitioner before respondents 1 and 2 respectively. The petitioner seeks for a direction

for an expeditious consideration of the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though there were some defects in Exts.P6 and P7, they

were rectified and have been represented.

After having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing that Exts.P6 and P7 shall be considered by respondents 1 and 2 respectively and appropriate orders passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
