The petitioner confines his relief for an

expeditious consideration of Ext.P1 application for

issuance of a regular permit on the route B.P. Angadi - Koottayi Azhimugham-Kuttippuram-Tirur. The application was submitted as early as on 12.03.2021.

The learned Government Pleader points out that the Covid Pandemic disabled convening of regular meetings and that expeditious steps will be taken for consideration of the application.

Without expressing anything on the merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1 application for regular permit as expeditiously

as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment. If holding of the physical meetings is found

not practicable within the said period, it will be open

for the first respondent to take appropriate steps to have the application considered by circulation.
