J U D G M E N T
Alleging large scale malpractices and
irregularities by the erstwhile Managing Committee, seven out of eleven members of the Committee, which
consists of the petitioners, resigned. The Society is now under an Administrator appointed under Section 33 of
the Co-operative Societies Act for lack of quorum. Petitioners filed Exts.P1 to P3 petitions before the first respondent pointing out the illegalities. The petitioners seek for action on their complaints.
through the learned Senior Government Pleader wherein it is stated that, on the complaint, an inspection under Section 66 of the Co-operative Societies Act has been ordered and the Attappadi Unit Inspector of the Assistant Registrar (General) Office, Mannarkkad is appointed as an Enquiry Officer.
